The event was an initiative by the volunteers of Little Love for those, who are generally ignored by the privileged section of society. While the real essence of Diwali is lost in fancy lighting, crackers and show offs, we tried to bring the lost culture of sharing and caring back via Diwali Fair 2018.
The event took place at Chandan Nagar Slums on Oct 28 2018 where Diwali articles range from earthen pots (diyas) to paper lamps and paper bags was sold by small ignited minds with the help of Little Love volunteers. The event was loved by Indoreans and they supported the concept. They were even interested to join us for future voluntary activities and devote their time for the betterment of society and for their own satisfaction. Funds raised by the event will be used for Project Shiksham inorder to educate less privileged children.
